Lone Twin Ensemble
In November 2005
Lone Twin will begin work on an ensemble performance project. In a
major departure from previous projects Gregg Whelan and Gary Winters
will not perform in the work but instead devise and direct the piece
in collaboration with an ensemble of five performers.
The piece will
be a narrative-based stage/studio production.
The project’s
research, development and production period runs from November 2005
to May 2006 and is supported by the Arts Council of England and made
in partnership with Farnham Maltings, Sophiensaele, Berlin, and Nuffield
Theatre, Lancaster.
The piece will
begin showing from May 2006 following public progress showings at
Sophiensaele in April 2006

Nine Years
In 2006 Lone
Twin will be nine years old: not quite ten, no longer eight. We’re
planning to celebrate with the new work Nine Years. Drawn from extensive
video documentation Nine Years will re-present, re-negotiate and re-contextualise
our performance work to date in an attempt to survey the route taken
and to assess the road ahead
Nine years
will begin showing in September 2006
Childrens Performance
In 2006 Lone
Twin will begin work on a piece for children. This piece follows our
work in childrens television and promises to be a unique experience
for a young audience.
The piece will
begin showing in September 2006
